HetlandCreek is located in Lake Stevens, WA. about 35 miles north of Seattle. We are a small hobby farm producing exceptional animals from quality bloodlines.
We have quality breeding Labrador retrievers. We feel that the labrador is the perfect all around dog. Always ready for any situation. We do hunt our dogs, so having the exceptional hunt instinct is very important. Our lines combine show and hunt champions. We try to combine the amazing beauty of the show dog with the functionality of the hunter. We strive to always improve our breeding program as to breed standards and characteristics set by the AKC. First and foremost our dogs are part of our family. The Labrador is the perfect family dog. Keeping in mind that the lab stays a puppy for at least the first 2 years. We like to place our pups only in forever homes and with family's who understand the temperament of the lab. They are high energy dogs and require an outlet for this energy. The Labrador is very easily trained and obedience training is always recommended for any puppy. All puppies will have had a veterinarian exam, dewclaws removed a minimum of the first vaccine started @ 8 weeks of age and deworming started at 2 weeks of age and repeated every 2 weeks until 8 weeks of age. Also they will be sent home with a puppy kit. No puppy is allowed to leave for a new home until they are 8 weeks of age. All pup's are sold on a limited registration unless arrangements have been made in advance for breeding rights. At which point a change of registration may be optional after health clearances (Hip, elbows & Eyes) have been passed.
We also have a small herd of Nigerian Dwarf goats. The Nigerian dwarf is a miniature dairy goat. Our herd contains many quality lines such as Pholia Farm, Rosasharn, Piddlin Acres, Buttin' Heads, Sugar Creek, Kaapio Acres, WoodHaven, Gay-Mor, Twin Creeks, Algedi Farm, Ponders End, and Tupence plus many more. We try to combine great bloodlines, confirmation, looks and personality. All of our kids are dam raised but handled daily to insure very friendly healthy kids. We breed for excellence in udder capacity, correctness in conformation and personality. I have been raising goats since 2002. As with anything, It is good to start with a good foundation. My small herd is made up of excellent breeding stock, producing great goats for show, milk, or just pets. The nigerian dwarf is the perfect all around goat. It comes in flashy colors even having blue eyes. The have a calm and gentle temperament making it easy for even very small children to handle.
We are a CAE, CL, Johne's and Brucella Negative herd. Entire herd is tested yearly.
